Carol Hooper

Carol Hooper, licensed Clinical Social Worker and Marriage & Family Therapist, has been a highly effective life coach for individuals and families for over 20 years. She is a diplomate of ICBCH (International Certification Board of Clinical Hypnotherapy) and the National Association of Sports Professionals, as well as a certified consultant for EMDRIA (Eye Movement and Desensitization Reprocessing International Association).

Ms. Hooper holds a Masters in Social Work from Clark Atlanta University and a Bachelor of Arts from Vanderbilt University. She was awarded a grant from the Kellogg Foundation through the Cork Institute of Morehouse School of Medicine for substance abuse. She is currently a doctoral candidate in psychology, with an emphasis on sports psychology, at California Southern University.

While at Vanderbilt, Ms. Hooper was a featured twirler in the marching band, winning multiple state and national awards. She later became a teacher, judge and contest director with the National Baton Twirling Association. Since that time, she has worked with numerous sports teams in the areas of motivation and performance enhancement. She currently specializes in anxiety issues and PTSD (Post-traumatic Stress Disorder). She has authored and produced over 20 hypnosis recordings that have been successfully implemented by sports professionals and in schools and self-help groups around the country.
